TMA - Text Message Academy
![]() |
TMA – Text Message Academy is inspired by the „last minute” project of the polish performance artist Arti Grabowski and is founded 2009 by BBB Johannes Deimling and part of PAS – Performance Art Studies. The idea is to send various performative tasks that the person has to solve right after the point of receiving the text, with no consideration of where they are (for example in a supermarket, a bus, at work, in a train or at home) Rules: - sign up by sending a text to +4915779585675 with your full name and mobile number - you will receive a text message from TMA that confirms your membership - from the moment of signing in the TMA you will receive at some point a text with a specific task (for example two per day or just one in a month) - you need to write down and document (drawing, text, photograph or film) your experiences and results and send this within the given time to bbb@bbbjohannesdeimling.de .(if you are not able to send the documentation within the given time, you need to reply to TMA and report the reason and the time when you are able to send this documentation). - some of the documents you will send will be published here - if you want to be removed from TMA, just send a text to TMA - TMA is a service by PAS – Performance Art Studies and is free for members. But you may support TMA by donating money or vouchers (if you are interested in doing this, please contact TMA) |
