1988 I realized my first public Performance, made my first exhibition and since this time the tripple B exists in front of my name. Since 20 years I do Performance Art and I am curious what will happen in the next 20 years. I am happy to celebrate with you !!!

1988 habe ich meine erste öffentliche Performance realisiert, meine erste Ausstellung gemacht und seit dieser Zeit existiert auch das 3fache B vor meinem Namen. Seit nun 20 Jahren mache ich Performance Kunst und bin neugierig was in den nächsten 20 Jahren passieren wird. Ich freue mich mit Euch zu feiern !!!

My first performance: I saw my first performance art piece 1985 realized by the artists Karin Meiner & Manfred Hammes in Andernach, my hometown. I was amazed and fascinated by the fact to produce art without having afterwards a product. I started doing some first small actions without any audience and not really sure about that what I was doing there. 1988 Meiner & Hammes gave me the first opportunity to show at a local music and art openair festival on a hill in the near of my hometown my first public performance. It was 1988 and I called my first public action “Eitemperale Leimkomposition” (in english something like: egg tempera glue composition). For this I spreaded out a big, white tablecloth on the ground, smashed 30 eggs on it, poured glue over the smashed eggs and finally a bag with red pigments. I took a broom, swept the things together and painted the whole sheet red. I increased this action until I got also red. Finally I took the red blanket and wrapped it around my shoulders and went into the near forest.
